The Community Assistance Program provides an opportunity for financial support via grant application, to help turn bold community dreams into reality.
The Community Assistance Program (CAP) has been created as a way of empowering individuals, community organisations, sporting groups and community groups to apply for funding to progress and improve the local area and directly benefit the community through planned assistance and equitable distribution of limited funding from Council.
Council sets aside an annual budget allocation for this program, with applications open from 1 July to 31 August each year.
Community Groups and Organisations can apply to one of four categories:
- Annual Event Sponsorship
- New Event Sponsorship
- Equipment and Facilities
- Community Health and Wellbeing
