Kingston District Council will commence its 2026/27 Annual Business Plan and Budget process shortly and invites ideas and submissions from the community for projects or initiatives to be considered in Council’s 2026/27 budget deliberation process.

Submissions should align with Council’s 2023-2027 Strategic Plan and could relate to any Council activities such as roads, streets, parks & gardens, footpaths, walking trails and community development activities.

Council will consider all submissions; however, we ask the community to be mindful of current budget pressures and the range of big issues that Council are facing or already considering including the Kingston Jetty, CWMS Extension Project, Sand and Coastal Management, Rosetown Drainage Project and Maria Creek Boat Ramp and Weir Proposal.

Members of the community are encouraged to talk to their Elected Members who can raise budget submissions on behalf of the community. Alternatively, submissions can be made on the form below and must be lodged by 5.00pm on 16 December 2025.

Council will consider submissions at its workshop scheduled for 3 February 2026.
